Nah I can't have the customer do too much in this case... as usual they're quite technologicly challenged and having them create their own pdf file is really no option. Installing a pdf printer would be lovely... but of course that is not an option either.... no access to the server, no way to have ...

creating a .pdf from .doc
Ok did a heap of searches everywhere (here also) and I couldn't find anything that really helped me. The situation is the following... A customer wants to upload a .doc file and automaticly send it as a .pdf file as a mail attachment. Now creating a .pdf isn't really the issue, nor is sending as an ...

yeah that's what I have myself... I get some definite oddities though. It looks like IE tries to rethink the hover/mouseover stuff every time the mouse moves over a regular textlink within something that has either a hover or a mouseover property. And it might have some trouble finding out what's wh...

Hey. well ok some crits: I'd say get rid of the image behind the main text... all it does is make the text harder to read. Also the blue boxes on the left aren't too subtle... I can understand the gals wanting lots of pink but that blue shouldn't be nessecary. It also makes the latest news text near...

dropdown menu woes
Ok well here's the thing. I have a dropdown menu which works rather nicely. Now I know I could have done it in css completely without javascript but that's not the specific issue. The thing is that when you move over the text links in the dropdown menu the cursor flickers (in IE that is). So you get...

print version?
I figured I'd ask this here. I'm working on a site on which I want a print version of every page. Now making a page with no pics/colors and only regular text type stuff without menus is easy enough. But I was wondering if there is a way to for instance get rid of page and url info as put out by brow...
