FormToEmail Twilight Zone Testing Error
Posted: Wed Jul 08, 2009 11:44 am
I really need some help.
Minor Details:
I have about 25 websites. Most of them hosted on GoDaddy. Most of them using the FormToEmail.php script for sending forms.
Whenever I set up a new form or make a change, I send a test through the form to make sure it functions correctly. I noticed that my forms were not coming through the majority of the times I was sending the tests for a particular site. I finally narrowed down the fact that the form would not submit whenever I used test@test.com in the email field for the test submission.
I sent several tests using crap emails like rg34t34g@fg5g3.com 1234@rgwer.com, etc. They ALL cam through fine.
I send another one using test@test.com. Nothing comes through.
GoDaddy swears it has nothing to do with them, even though it ONLY happens on sites hosted on their servers (or their 3rd party servers).
My concern is that there may be some other email domains that act like the test@test.com and do not come through.
Anyone have any idea what might be going on?
Thanks,
Kevin Webb
