Trying to make searchable inventory

I am pretty proficient in non-database web design so I thought it would be easy to do this by myself but now I 'm completely lost. I built a database using Cpanel PHPadmin on my HostGator site and thats as fars as I have gotten. All I want my site to do right now is for users to use drop down menus to pick "YEAR" "MAKE" AND "MODEL" of a vehicle to look for or to be able to go directly to my inventory. I don't need online shopping just inventory display. Pretty much like AutoTrader.com and then the user could select descending or ascending order of any category of their wish. Like I said I built the database using the fields "ID" "Year" "Make" "Model" "Color" "Mileage" "Price". But now I have no idea what to do next or what tutorial to follow. Is there maybe just some software I could purchase for this or can someone tell me what tutorials I need to be studying to accomplish my goal of making a searchable inventory like AutoTrader.com.

~Thank You
