2 Forums on 1 Database

Post by AliJ »

Hello,
I have made a new vBulletin forum and since there is a new version out some users might like to use
the old interface.
Is there a way that I can install vBulletin twice on the same the Database?
I want to make sure nothing will happen to my current one.
Should I just skip the step on the vBulletin installer where it creates the Tables on the database?
Well, thanks,

Ali J.

My advice is to never attempt to test anything on a production environment. You can create a lot of damage, maybe irreparable damage. So... why take a chance?

Why don't you try on a test machine and let us know what happens. I would start by reading the forum and FAQ of the vBulletin website.
