Does a free local PHP engine for Mac OS 9.1 exist?

Post by quentin »

I'm running Mac OS 9.1 and I wondered if there was any free PHP engine available for this OS. I'm a complete beginner to PHP, and I'm aware that most of the stuff is available for OS X, but I'd just like to know if there is anything I could download so that I don't have to upload my scripts every time I want to test something. Thanks in advance.

(Sorry if this is the wrong forum)

It doesn't mention anything for Mac at all (not even OS X), and as I know there are PHP servers for OS X, that's not a definitive answer.

OK, I didn't see that, but it's no help to me as I need something for OS 9.1, NOT X. Thanks anyway.

Sorry FAQ gave you nothing, I never checked it out, just thought if it existed you would find it there.

Check http://www.phpmac.com/ and/or post it in their's section here on this board (viewforum.php?f=18).
Think those hanging around in that forum can answer that easier... ;)

I got nothing from searching their site but I'll go and ask in their forum. I didn't realise there was a separate one. I came here from a link from there (it seemed the most suitable link from google) but I didn't notice a separate Mac forum.
