I have a system I have built for a church - it is called 'Faithbook' - kind of like an internal social networking system that students and faculty use in their Training Center to communicate, send exams etc.
I have a utility where the students can send a message to their instructor and upload their exam to the server - where the instructor can retrieve it.
If the file, however, has been zipped, Internet Explorer does not allow the instructor to see the file, I think it has something to do with the Protect Mose of the browser. It opens Word docs fine, but not zipped files. Mozilla opens them fine.
If I save the file to my desktop - it saves fine and is still zipped, but when I try to unzip it it gives me 3 folders '_rels' 'docProps' and 'word' + a file called '[Content Types].xml.' Inside each folder are xml files. I am not sure what it is doing or where to even try and solve what is going on. Like I said they open fine in Mozilla.
Does anyone have any idea or has anyone seen anything like this?
