At present, I've written a small server for the purpose of controlling mysql servers remotely using
traffic managers as part of the Tubo Linux TurboCluster setup. Another thing I'd like some feedback on is how to deal with windows telnet clients. They work by sending each character pressed at the keyboard to the server as opposed to sending a string when it gets a hard carraige return. The mysql servers are using PHP of course, but I'd like some feedback from people as to why they feel this may not be a good idea.
