Well, the negativity won't be tolerated. I will be very quick to handle it, you can be sure.

Well, the negativity won't be tolerated.
And that is greatly appreciated.
I am fairly new to PHP, but not to programming (C and C++ for almost 20 years). I needed a function and couldn't find it and posted a question on the San Diego PHP Users Group forum. Turned out the function had a name not totally indicitave of its purpose and the guy did give me the tip, but it was accompanied by a very rude "read the manual" flame. Very arrogant and used the word "stupid" about me not reading the manual.
I'm ashamed to say that I live in San Diego, but I certainly won't be bothering those "experts" any more.
The people here are admirably helpful and patient, and this forum is a delight to peruse.
