got the code but no instructions.

Iv just bought a code for a new website im makeing.

The only problem is i have no instructions what so ever, so i dont know how to install in to my server. could any one help me on were to start. Iv done it with an affiliate program about a year ago that had instructions an that went ok. but now with this one i just dont know were to start. :roll:

Hard to say exactly without seeing all the code.

Are you sure there isn't a read me n there somewhere/

Look for a config file: you'll have to enter db conn details somewhere: username, password, database name.

You may have an sql batch file somewhere to create the database - run that first.

iv just had a look and i cant find any thing.

you could also email whoever you brought the script from.

Tried that! no reply. they wanted me to hoast it on there server. thats how they made there cash. so i dont think they want to give any support.

we cant get any ideas without seeing any code,you havet really old us what does the script do, ie. member ship system, forum, database manager etc :?.

i can understand why you may not want to paste the code here, you paid for it and some people might take it for free, you could email one of these nice people :?.

i suggest McGruff, but ask him first!
