is there a limit on the max columns in mysql?

i never have tested it but i have gone up to about 40/45 8O.

a little over 3,000 is the maximum, but i depends what version of MySQL you are using. If you are using a vast amount of columns, i am guessing you will not have normalized your DB very well.

P.S. Quads, you post count is the number of the devil :twisted:

1 question..why do you guys like to add "u" in my name? you like typeing extra letters or something? lol..maybe i would have to ask jason to add "quads" into bad word list and have it replaced by "qads" :lol:
