Trying to make a subscription site with PayPal.

Hello. Sorry to bother you... I was wondering if someone could help me, please. I have been trying, for months, to make a site that can be subscribed to through PayPal which will allow access to all downloadable content on the site for month-long periods. I've looked at many already-made scripts and services that don't work for me.

My site is PHP-enabled, allows MySQL databases and, um... I don't know what else to add to that. If anyone could help me, I'd really appreciate it. I don't usually beg, but I'm so desperate and frustrated, at this point. PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE help me if you can. I'd really, really appreciate it and, um, maybe name some children after you--not my own, of course, because I don't have any. Thank you very much.

You know, I find it so difficult NOT to sell my companies services here. This is what we do! But alas, I am not one to market, or even try to aggresively spam my own boards.

Note to potential spammers: If I can avoid doing this on my own boards, so can you.

RainBoger: There is a good solution called aMember that you might be interested in.

This should help you solve the problem. Many of my merchants love it, and it makes integration rather easy. On top of that, it works with PayPal.

Not that you should be using PayPal anyways =)

Hi, again. Thank you for answering. That was one of the things I wanted to mention in my post, but I forgot. I've looked into aMember and various others... Some of them don't work for me and others are just way too expensive. I tried aMember Free, but I couldn't get it to work. I followed the instructions and tested it and everything was still readily accessible without prompting for a password.

I posted in their forums, asking for help, but they didn't help at all. They just suggested paying them to do it for me. I e-mailed their support and the same person contacted me, suggesting I pay them to do it. I think that one person must single-handedly do just about everything there. I can't get any actual help and the price they are asking is way too much for me. I have seen some for less, but I can't be sure they're what I want and I can't afford to waste money if they're not.

Thank you, again, for replying. Please help me further, if you can. What services do you offer? Please market. ;P As long as it's affordable, of course... Although I really would prefer to learn to do just this much without needing to constantly refer to someone else afterward. I wish there was a tutorial on this very thing. Thanks again.
