info for those who use notepad...
hi guys,
a few days back i asked a question in the forum as how to use notepad to get to a certain line. Nobody seemed to know that. So, I didnot get my answer.
however, some senior members asked me to use some other php editors like phpedit.
I know these editors which are made only for php are far more useful than notepad...but I just now figured out that there is a function in notepad that helps you get to any particular line.
press ctrl+g and it will ask for the line no..
Hope it helps those who were also looking for how to do it with notepad.

It works fine for me.
Sure it does. You can also use the menus:Bech100 wrote:doesn't work in Win XP Pro
????
Edit --> Go To...
When you open your Edit menu, you should see the keyboard shortcut for the "Go To..." command right next to it.
