The cookie is just one thing I am concerned about. I can't say any more until I've discussed it with the other moderators.

I didn't think the picture would cause this much contravery to have the mods talk about it.

I believe the script is a simple image generator, with a link to a bad site... that's all... i need to start laying attention i guess...

And it's not even a bad site. I talked to the owner of the site, and all the cookie does is keep track of how many visits you have had to the page for that day. But, the image itself uses no cookie. Can I put it back please?

The issue with Straterra's image has been resolved. It seems that he had session.auto_start enabled and didn't realize that would try to set a cookie. I have told him that if he turns that off he can put the image back on.
In the future perhaps it would be wise to try to help resolve the issue if someone does not understand rather than making abrasive accusations.

I'm not sure you've got what I was on about - see mods forum.

OK.. I owe you an apology Straterra for telling you to shut up. Not my best moment. I was getting rather fed up after repeatedly giving you clear instructions which you did not follow.
I acted out of a concern to provide a secure environment for members and I wasn't prepared to make any compromises. There was a good reason why I asked you to remove the signature which I'd prefer not to mention - no point in advertising it.
The end.

Yeah, I'm sorry I didn't follow your instructions, but I knew that my script wasn't setting the cookie (it was the server). I did try to see if we could resolve the problem, but it's resolved now, so it doesn't matter.

The cookie was only ever a symptom, or a possible symptom of something more sinister. Sorry if I'm being a bit cryptic but I just realised today that there is a major security flaw in the forum which I didn't know about, and I'd rather not mention what exactly.

Holy..Now that I think about it..I see what it is too! Holy..that is bad...But, I too wont mention it unless you want me to tell you in a PM McGruff, which you prolly don't.

Straterra,
It would be great if you could remove that external image link from your profile. It's all great and that, but, when you click a forum link it should take you to the last posted reply, but because your image link is often broke, and general routing makes it take forever and a day to load, i have to press stop in the browser to prevent it loading and then scroll down to the last post .... most annoying

Yeah, sorry. I am working on my server, that is why the image is down. I will take the image off now.
