Run a script with nothing but phpinfo() in it - that'll tell you what version you have.

Bottom line is - both my function and LaunchCode's code works fine on later versions of PHP.

Give it a try on your server and see how you get on.

I don't know what happened but thanks it works on my server!! Just didn't work on the virtual server
