Typo3 - Experiences?

Post by patrikG »

Do you have a site running with Typo3 ( http://typo3.org/ )? If so, what were your experiences? How is the forum/community/eCommerce integration?

I am playing around with it, but as with any more complex application, it's only through intensive use that you'll find out the strengths and weaknesses of an application. So, if you do have Typo3 experience, please post.

I fiddled with it

I fiddled with it once. I ran in terror at the size of the application. But I've never heard anything bad about it other than it's size makes it difficult to learn.

Hi,

Are you german?
Have a look on the one and only good typo3 book in german, e.g. on amazon.de - serach for typo3.
It's a book written by developers of typo3

I've seen the book and speak German, but from what I gathered it was more of a printed tutorial - which is not what I am after.
I interested in what people who have been using Typo3 have to say about it in terms of usability, bugs, support, features, modules, plugins and general feedback.
