PHP Genius needed. Email form that will attach an image...??

Post by breklin »

Perhps someone can help me out...

I am trying to develop a form that will allow me to take an image(s) submitted via form and add it/them to a PHP generated email as attachments.

IF anyone here knows how this might be done, please help me out.

Thanks!

This forum doesn't need lazy posters...

So search it yourself, and come back if you encounter any problems you encounter while you are trying some of the found solutions..

Gee, thanks for the helping hand. I didn't intend to be a "lazy poster" but I guess that's better than being a snobby jerk.

No one has to help you, we are all choosing to do it. They're lots of people in the PHP - Code section who could use help.

When/If you do find a topic but you need help customizing it for yourself it might get kind of hard to find people to help you. Not everyone likes being insulted when trying to help. That wont get you very far.

No insult meant. Just thought the tone of the timvw's post was a bit rash. FYI - I have been looking around for a solution but haven't come across one. So, my apologies for any hurt feelings. Being that I am new here, I will obviously respect the Resident way of life but also appreciate not being called a "lazy poster". That was uncalled for and rude. Via con dios.

this sort of question has been asked (and answered many times before), even on this forum.

i just tested it myself (to be absolutely sure) by searching for "upload image and mail" (on this forum) and found more than enough to come up with a complete script.

Thank you for the tip. That was much nicer than calling me lazy, sir. I was searching under the wrong words then" "form email attach uploaded image". Do unto others as they do to you, isn't it? Thank you for your guidance.

breklin, theres a sticky at the top of this forum, named "Posting Code in the Forums"

read that, and the link at the top of that thread that sais how to ask "smart questions"

i think you will get a LOT more out of any online forum after reading those. its kinda long but well worth it imo.
