I am not sure what the right category is for this questions (MODs, move this to where you feel it belongs).
I am looking for opinions as to the most efficient way of developing thumbnail screenshots of client web sites to display on my media site for prospective customers. I was thinking of doing printscreens then resizing the captured image to 120 X 90 and FTP'ing both fullsize images and thumbnails onto my server.
This seems to be an archaic way of doing this (to me anyway) although it is perfectly adequate for my needs since I am the one using the code (not for a client or app).
I am open to your opinions on this and any suggestions as to code that can simplify or automate this process. I have searched this community and read several threads containing the search terms thumbnail and screenshot.

You would need command line access on your server. Root access if possible.
