PHP 4.2.2 & Redhat 7.2

Post by probe »

Hi Everyone
i hope that someone can help me with a major problem
my isp cant seem to sort it out ?
when i try to access a admin.php or index.php thru my browser it says cant find server in this case with phpnuke6 . i have installed it many times on other servers with out problems so the chmod etc are ok...
The problem seems to be in the installation of PHP 4.2.2 on the Redhat 7.2
although my isp has tried it is all in vein !

I am sure there are experts here that know the exact install setting to solve this problem.. i dont know if this will help http://www.ezhost.nu/phpinfo.php Any advise is welcome because i seemed to have exhausted all my options.

many thanks in advance

... it says cant find server...
php not working would probably lead to a 404 document not found or 405 internal server error. Have you placed a static html-file in the directory of phpNuke and tried to access this?

Thanks for the reply

A static index.html in the nuke6 folder is visible no problem, It is only the php extentions that give the error cant find server. I really think its the installation of the php 4.2.2 on the Redhat 7.2
i would like to know how others have succsesfully installed this & got php to work.

many thanks for your answer
