How to make a forum?

hi all,

I now need a forum on my website and i dotn know how to make one. When i search google all i get is people asking how to make one and they dont get a response. So if anyone has a tutorial or even a link please post it. Im using Linux Slackware.

Yes we're using phpBB. You can also download vBulletin but you have to pay for that.

Another nice board is invision board. There are loads of them really ;)

Oh, your the site admin, I want to comment. This is one of te better sites ive been to keep up the good work! :D

It's for any server running PHP.

Oh yeah all i need is a tutorial. Does anyone have one? This one guy gave me a windows one but not a linux one. :(
