Most of you college guys/girls have at least one class that somehow used a webbased part.

I want to develop a complete webbased class program in php using a MySQL database. If you are familiar with WebCT, the you know what kind of program i am talking about. It will have several sections which are different for the teacher side and student side. Here is are some screenshots of a possible layout (http://www.thinktanklabs.com/professor-web/). The projects website is at http://www.professor-web.com

Well on to the different features.

Common Features

-Login Page
-Chatroom
-Internernal Messaging System
-Discussionboard (depedning on what class a student is signed up for different forums become viewable)

Teacher Features
-Post homework assignments
-Post Quizzes (that will be graded auto. when students take the -test online)
-Grade assiand post grades
-Post handouts (for printing at home and what not)
-access to all students info
-plus many other features

Student Features
-View/Download Handouts/Assignments
-Take Quizzes
-View Grades
-other features

The final outcome of this project is to come up with a marketable software that can be sold to Universies and High Schools.

If anyone here is interested in helping in this project, please email me at marcell@hexedsolutions.com or contact me on AIM at HexedSupport

I'd certainly be glad to help out. I would email you, but my mail server is playing up, and the only other mail account will signup your email address for a load of spam... :( :(
