Not everyone, just members of ModerHoodSorry to bring this OT slightly but what are the codes for all the great smileys I've been seeing everyone using?

ahhh... this reminds me of some company that advertised "if you can hack, you get $$" or something along those lines..... the intentions of that company were similar to yours... to make it more securedGWsux wrote:@Feyd
What does that code do? I'm new to php, I only know lots of basic functions and I am bad at interpreting any code but my own![]()
I started learning php a year ago, but didn't start learning at a fast pace until recently.
Also, do you all mind if I make a thread soon asking anyone who wants to, to try and hack my portal that I'm making to help me make it secured?
I see no rubish... I see more emoticons.ole wrote:When I click "View more Emoticons" I just get the usual rubbish.
We do mind. It's illegal to hack across networks. Which puts that into the realm of forbidden by forum rules.GWsux wrote:Also, do you all mind if I make a thread soon asking anyone who wants to, to try and hack my portal that I'm making to help me make it secured?

Probably not, but you would need to prove that you are. Oh and we'd have to be prepaired to do it. If you want that kind of thing done there are places on the web were people will do it for you, no questions asked, or so I've been told. You are better off buying yourself a book on PHP security and hanging around in the security forum on this forum. I recommend "Essential PHP Security" by Chris Shifflett, he turns up in these on these forums every now and again as well.@feyd:
even if the OWNER of the site asks, its still illegal?

It actually is illegal.GWsux wrote:Hacking is not illegal, if legitimate permission is given (which I can provide), why not? Shouldn't that make section 1.1, rule 9 not apply? (You got the rule # wrong)
