Not http://www.indoservices.org/skillbound/spd.php
As No server gives you Static speed your speed changes Time to time .
so before writting this post you tested and got a speed and now you tested and got the Same speed.
And 1 funny thing I have to tell you the script is not hosted in my site and according to the configuration of that script in that Server its Impossible to show you 256 MBPS speed

I must say I have enough of this bashing - seriously.
It made you laugh, mattcooper? Guess what, roflmao, you've jumped on the wrong "bash 'em" wagon. Ha ha, how stupid is that?
You didn't make my day, you made my whole week. And now stop it.

Thanks volka, I guess they didn't understand my last comment about constructive criticism.

Hopefully they will now.

It has also worked for me. I've tested it in 4 PCs.
1 in my home 2 in my office and 1 in cyber cafe.
It has worked with all of them perfectly.I dont know why its not working in your cases. But 1 thing :
1. nobody in this earth can show you the dot accurate result.
2. your speed is not constant always.
3. and up to 15 KBPS difference in different speed test is natural.
as other servers uses speed testing as commercial project their servers are never down and their server has enough upload speed to test

The server's upload capacity has to be higher than the client's download capacity.
you might have more download speed than that of server's upload speed.
but that doesn't prove that its not working. what can the script do if the server is down or the server's upload speed is too low.
4. and at last also the video says that its working
If i have some screen capturing softwares i can also show you live that its working
But the video quality of that youtube video is too low.
----------------------------------------------------------------
1 thing the visitors need to remember while seeing this historical  topic
that this topic have an extension on viewtopic.php?p=378898#378898
---------------------------------------------------------------
And so the conclution is its yes its working.

Hi Speed Test Programs

Post by dharprog »

Hi Guys,

Its working nicely. You can check it out and compare with the Most Famous MCafee Programme. I'm giving both the links below here.

You can test say that Neel Basu's programme is working good.

http://promos.mcafee.com/speedometer/test_0150.asp

http://www.indoservices.org/skillbound/spd.php

http://203.145.184.14/meter.php

http://www.digitalcablenet.com/speed.htm -- here you can find three test programs

As he said the speeds and bandwidth depends upon the Server and Internet service provider. Now everybody can see the differences. You just run the programs as parallelly so that you could understand.

Thank You.

Hey this site (the Site of Airtel Bharti) test the speed in the same way as this script of mine does.
But Here is a live example
that both of these uses the Same technique but the result is sometimes Different .
Thats for both have different server configuration and Different Upload Speed on the server.
