ruby vs php

i wonder to know php vs ruby.
why is ruby getting so popular...
i had heard its because of MVC pattern...
what the hell is that.. cant it be used in case of php?
may be this is not related to php-code..
i apologize if the place is wrong...
i hope i would got the answer..

I'm with Jcart on this one. You should search this forum because this question has been asked many times before. There are a lot of articles on Google.

searching in google is one thing..
but asking in forum the other...which really rocks...
so my priority goes to forums...then only googling....

definitely. as a member of a forum, it should always be your first goal to give information. THEN, recieve it.
always start your search with google. if the research you've found from google doesn't make sense, hit the forums with detailed questions.
