Thats fine if there is a cost but these two programs are encoded with codlock so you can customize it for your needs. That is what I want open source.

Hmm, couldn't you just find a massive list of proxies, cycle through them sending different requests to your server? Seems like it would be easy to implement, unless i'm missing something.

Maybe I'm missing the point :? What is the point? If it's a way to "cheat" at getting advertising revenue then it's going to bite you in the ass eventually. Like I say, maybe I'm missing the point?

Yeah. Google, a company with one of the best programming teams I've ever heard of (Facebook's team is very skilled as well), is the leading search engine, and their the ones that drive most traffic to websites. They put a large amount of effort into avoiding spam and having websites ranked by fairness. I'm sure if they haven't already, they'll have a way to combat "fake" traffic.

I'm pretty sure they've implemented a solution by now, but I could be mistaken.
SEO websites have more rumor than fact, so I don't trust it all.
