Of course saying "you don't support javascript, disappear!" is just to get the meaning, there are much soft ways to make people enabling js "Please enable JS in order to experience our site better", etc

Yes, and you just said it yourself, "better." The site should be completely usable without JavaScript, as most things that you can control with JavaScript can be "dumbed down" to be controlled without it, to the form of simple input boxes down to item lists.
