a good OOP pattern ??

Post by PHPycho »

Hello forums!!
I am not new to OOP but would like to make the whole site 100% object oriented. Can anybody suggest/provide a small application or framework (not a big one) so that
one can understand the concept of making a whole application in OOP way.
Waiting for the suggestions and comments.

Thanks n advance to all of you.

Why don't you download something like symfony and have a poke around in the source code. Effectively what you're looking for is a framework.

http://www.symfony-project.com/

Apart from that your question is way too vague. Some key design patterns to look into however would be:

* MVC
* Front Controller
* Object relational mapping and/or active record
* Composite view

hi
There are lot of frameworks are available.
Exactly [s]u[/s] you tell what kind of site you have to develop.?
Then we suggest the framework according to that..

Some examples of what not to do are ne1, any1 (anyone); u (you); ur (your or you're); 2 (to too); prolly (probably); afaik (as far as I know); etc.
