Does your host have a forum? Might be easier to search within there if so (Search: mail() etc.), might get some results showing some explanations.

I have done that and I get the following message in a returned email

"This message was created automatically by mail delivery software.

A message that you sent could not be delivered to one or more of its
recipients. This is a permanent error. The following address(es) failed:

nick@q2q.co.uk
No Such User Here"

The thing is that nick@q2q.co.uk is valid and does exist (it's my email address).
