How to track pages when more than one open

Hi,

I'm using a class to try and track when someone is moving around my website. The problem is that if they have more than one page open they are redirected to the last page opened in either window not the last page in that window.

Here's my session class if that helps (well it's not mine):

Code: Select all

<?php

 * The Session class is meant to simplify the task of keeping
 * track of logged in users and also guests.

That would be inherently problematic, since HTTP is "stateless".

You could log the progression of page visits per user, but there's no guarantee that they'd come from the same window without using an ugly (and unreliable) URL variable.

So how do you process a form and return them to the original page?
