I am currently reworking someone's site right now and they are against using wordpress as a CMS so I was wondering what experience you guys had with other software that performed the same ability for people to login online and update it the main page with a WYSIWYG interface.
Requirements
-must be able to be installed into the body of a page keeping the rest of the design intact
-preferaly PHP code but if installation/implementation is easy enough, any other language will not be a problem
-free
Thanks in advance guys

If they've got Wordpress up & running & working well for them, I'd suggest leaving it alone - just re-theme it. Wordpress isn't ideal in my opinion, but it works well enough for what a lot of people want.
Real programmers don't comment their code. If it was hard to write, it should be hard to understand.
