Hi,
I've made a script which I'd like to make publicly available. It's a stand-alone script, html tags and all, ready to run.
I'd like to make it free for private use, but not for commercial use. Distribution as long as the copyright notice is intact.
My question:
- what might arguments for/against permitting modifications be?
- what licensing (e.g. MIT/GPL etc ) could be appropriate?
- could you recommend a couple of sites that I could submit the script to, while maintaining my license terms?
Thanks
Licencing ideas for a script I've made

I am not familiar with any particular licenses offhand however there is a lit over at Wikipedia and I'm sure you'll be able to find something a bit quicker by browsing there. Good luck!
