So I am making a sampler page for music, and would like to add a little player so the person doesn't have to use a blank window or download it to listen to it.
I am thinking I'll just do a iframe and load a little player that you can use to listen to the stuff...much more appealing visually.
According to Apple's Controlling QuickTime Using JavaScript you need 10.4 to get this to work. Bummer.
So my question is if there another way to control the movies with a good looking interface? I'd use flash, but some of my files are .m4a, and I haven't been able to find how to get flash to play those.
Also, is there a way to check with js or something if the person has the necessary quicktime to play the m4a files?
Of course the javascript works with firefox, and probably every other browser people will be using.
