I am in the market for a good book on CSS. I wanted to start a post to gather some of your recommendations of books you've found most helpful on this subject. Thanks for your input and I look forward to reading your input!

If you're the "learn by doing" type, check out
Eric Meyer's CSS books. His books basically take a bunch of projects and walks through them from start to finish, including cross-browser fixes.

I found SitePoint's "HTML Utopia: Designing Without Tables Using CSS" really helpful.
It's well laid out which made it easy to follow and easy to read and the Appendix at the back is good for quickly looking up properties at a later date. Like the Eric Meyer books mentioned above there are good practical examples and workarounds for cross browser issues, including a complete reference in the appendix that tells you what properties work in which browsers.
It's a pretty thorough book and I still managed to read the whole thing, rather than getting bored and just flicking to the parts I thought I needed to know!
The only thing I thought it lacked was a satisfactory way to lay out forms. Don't get me wrong, it gives a solution, but I'm yet to make it work properly for me in any of my work.
