Javascript Resources
Are there any resources for javascript that are even close to as helpful and elaborate as php.net is for php?

In a word no. There are resources but the organisation and ease-of-searching is knowhere near as good.
If you use windows and have a copy of MS Office XP (or other version I guess) you'll find some JS and DHTML .chm files buried inside Program Files somewhere but I don't remember where. Although mixed up with MS specific stuff they actually provide one of the best documentations for JS I've seen thus far. I don't like the one on the Netscape website.

http://developer.mozilla.org & http://msdn.microsoft.com proved to be the best resources for me.

I really like O'Reilly's Javascript book: http://www.oreilly.com/catalog/jscript4/
Yes I prefer a book over any site, but I'm very lo won cash at the moment. When I have the money I will definately check that out.feyd wrote:I really like O'Reilly's Javascript book: http://www.oreilly.com/catalog/jscript4/
I was wondering if those O'Reilly's books were any good. I usually buy the "Bible" Series. I have Photoshop CS bible, Javascript, HTML, CSS, PHP & MySQL, and a bunch of other ones.
And this is still my best resource... this site kicks smurf.
