If i execute this program in Mac Os,
[syntax="javascript"]<script language=javascript>
function fetchQuery(userid)
{
var searchString = document.getElementById('searchContent').value;
alert(searchString);
document.getElementById('userid').value = userid;
document.getElementById('Test').value=searchString;
alert(document.definition.Test.value);
}
</script>Code: Select all
<%php
print "<input type=hidden name=Test value=$Test>";
print "<input style='position:relative;' type=textbox name='searchContent' id='searchContent'>";
print"<input style='position:relative;' type=button value=' Go ' onclick='fetchQuery(userid)'>";
%>i am getting the value of 'search string'. Here i am assigning this value to the hidden variable 'Test'. but it is not accepting. In FireFox Mac os, this program is not working.
Can [s]u[/s] you help me , to resolve this?

They do not always speak English as well as some of us, nor do they know these aberrant abbreviations. Therefore, use as few abbreviations as possible, especially when using such simple words.
Some examples of what not to do are ne1, any1 (anyone); u (you); ur (your or you're); 2 (to too); prolly (probably); afaik (as far as I know); etc.
