What do you use for GUI prototyping? I need a tool that's can print the sketches and is simple to use.
I tried Visio but it doesn't quite cut it.

If everything else fails just use good ol' pencil and paper. Eraser optional.

+1 pencil and paper. Whiteboards are reasonable too. Paper prototyping (with lots of cut out bits and pieces) are celebrated by many but I found I mostly spent all my time with scissors and little actually designing.

If you can afford it, a wacom is great for replacing pen and paper (along with photoshop/illustrator)

I know three tools that you can use in GUI prototyping. I use Adobe FireWorks CS4, Balsamiq Mockups, and AutoIt, it depends on my task. You can buy installer of them or just download them from the internet.
