sometimes when i visit websites with a lot of seedy advertisements they exploit adobe reader to install software on my machine. its very frustrating and seems to be a quite new exploit. does anyone have any information about this?

If it deals with advertisements try using Firefox's adblock.
Or you may need to just update your adobe reader version? That might fix some things.
