php4ts.lib?

XML, Perl, Python, and other languages can be discussed here, even if it isn't PHP (We might forgive you).

php4ts.lib?

Post by Rickie »

Hi all, don't know if this is the right section for this kind of question so sorry if it isn't. My problem is a php setup tut for windows. I have to move the php4ts.dll file to the windows folder but mine is .lib not .dll does this matter, does that extension need changing? any help would be great. thanks

What web browser are you trying to set up with PHP?

The Browser is IE, its also for use with Apache webserver.

This is the paragraph from the tut if that helps clear it up for any one.
Then move the two-file php.ini and php4ts.dll to c:\windows. If you haven't already, make sure you delete the php.ini file from c:\php4win as otherwise it may cause conflicts later.
php4ts.dll, the file under that name in my folder is a .lib not dll

I did a google search on the file and a lot of the result have it named as php4ts.lib(php4ts.dll) so Im guessing its the same file, just not sure if the extension needs changing now.
