"Hardware"? More like "difficultware!"

Sorry about the title, really.
I'm trying to set up a DFI AZ30-TL motherboard to use the onboard VGA so I can free up the video card for another machine.
In my experience changes like this are usually done through the BIOS, but after exhaustively searching through it, I've found no option to use the onboard video. I then thought there may be a jumper on the board which would accomplish my desired task, but haven't found one. The documentation I got with the board licks ass, and doesn't even address the issue.
Has anyone used this board before, or run into a similar situation with a different one?
Before anyone asks, yes I've tried just plugging the monitor into the onboard VGA to see if it works - it doesn't, with or without anything in the AGP slot.
Thanks.
