Domain Propagation Confusion

Can someone explain this and/or provide a solution?

We recently had to move our domain to a new hosting provider. We switched our nameservers, and are finding the propagation is moving right along (some folks in some areas can get to our site, some can't). My quandry is in our office a couple of our computers can access the domain, while most can't (e.g. getting "This page cannot be displayed"). We're all on the same DSL line. I don't get it. :?

it can take a while for domains to fully transfer over.. as much as 2 weeks in some areas.. most likely, the computers that can't find it are getting the wrong IP addresses.. you can check them by trying to ping the domain name from some of these machines. Potentially, resetting their dns lookup servers, or restarting their dhcp clients/rebooting them can fix it sometimes...

It's also possible, although unlikely, the IT department added lines to the hosts file telling the computer the ip directly..
