closely related web applications

XML, Perl, Python, and other languages can be discussed here, even if it isn't PHP (We might forgive you).

closely related web applications

Post by damithc »

For a web application related research, i'm looking for two (or more) open source web applications (done in PHP or otherwise) that are related to each other by source code. That is, one application has been created by taking another's source code and modifying/enhancing it. Anybody came across such closely related web applications, pls let me know.

for example, i've heard several incarnations of postnuke exists, but coudn't find any.

Thx for the replay. I examined the two. source code is related, but not by much. I'm still looking for a stronger 'clone' relation.

most open source stuff won't be near clones of each other without saying it explicitly, as most of them require saying "I'm a derivitive of such'n'such"
