html editor with error checking

XML, Perl, Python, and other languages can be discussed here, even if it isn't PHP (We might forgive you).

html editor with error checking

Post by taldos »

Hey all,

I was just wandering if someone could give me suggests to use for an html editor. I am currently using HTML beauty, but the error checking is horendous and I am getting the short end of the stick at work because of it. Any recommendation as to what is a good platform (not the fancy text-assist kind) which I should use.

Cheers.

I think most use Dreamweaver but you could try Visual Studio .NET too.

the newer dreamweavers have pretty decent cross browser compatability error checking, including browser versions.

I'd like to draw your attention to the "favourite editors" thread, since a lot of this talk should be in there somewhere... at the least, that topic covers this one.
