flashy problem

hi,
i just can't see flash effects in my local server, but after uploading there is no problem. Is it a problem of localhost and if it is, is there any solution for that. i am using apache.

I'm pretty sure you're going to have a tough time getting an answer because we have no idea how you are using this "effects" nor what is coded into them.

well, i am just using one of my friends work. i myself don't know enything about flash, not even how the pencil tool works. i am just publishing the flash file and using it in my php page. Is there any basic reason why it's not working in localhost

Again, I have no idea because I don't know what's in the file. Since it's your friends work, as him. He would know better than us at this point.

i can't see the flash object in my web page, and the biggest problem is that i don't know anything about flash. is it a problem of apache? really sorry for i can't provide much information.

Check for three things...
1. The path provided is correct...
2. You are correctly using embed/object tags...
3. You have Flash Plugin/Active-X control installed...
