Computer programmers, by nature, aren't very personable. Granted there are exceptions to the rule, but they tend to get really good at one thing, get an ego about it, and criticize people on different "teams", with teams meaning different styles (procedural vs OOP) and different languages (PHP vs ASP) and even different operating systems (Windows vs *nix).
What is boils down to in this case, is a simple question.. Is the program manually compiled or not?
