I'm a freelance PHP developer and things are getting really busy, so my wife who used to work as a project manger for Digital Corp. is going to start helping me with staying organized. So we're a small team.

I'm looking for a web based project management tool, open source would be great but not mandatory.

What have you tried, or use.

What do you like or hate?

Thanks for any input you can give.

Spreadsheets work well for tracking what all needs to be done. Bugzilla is good for tracking bugs.

Hi!
Yeah, the project management tool question again… I’ve tried using basecamp, but it didn’t actually click with our team, lacks some features, like Gantt charts for example. After surfing the web I’ve found Wrike (http://www.wrike.com). It’s very easy to use and has a concept of wikis; you can edit, add or delete content. In Wrike, our content is tasks, sorted according to projects we’re involved in. The whole management process is based on email exchange; you create tasks and track them, sending and receiving emails. If you forget some task, the system will send you a reminder.
