PHP confusion

Moved to Miscellaneous.
Ok so i just started a job working with PHP and Mysql, and i need a good place to learn the basics, everywhere i look its a bit too complex,

any suggestions? 8O

The best place to start is not posting in the category that says "advanced discussions only".

If everywhere you look is too complex, perhaps you need to re-think whether this is the right job for you at this time.

You got a job working for PHP and MySQL, but you need to learn the basics?

Not to be a snot, but man, you need another job. Or at least, get some good books.
