Is "Click to activate and use this control" fixed?

XML, Perl, Python, and other languages can be discussed here, even if it isn't PHP (We might forgive you).

Is "Click to activate and use this control" fixed?

Post by Sindarin »

I use swfobject to embed any flash animation in my webpages, I just noticed that some flash files I had embedded in some old pages using the <object> method no longer show the "Click to activate and use this control" message. Is that thing on Internet Explorer fixed from Microsoft or something? 8O

Yes, but only if you have updated your IE.

I was unaware that all this was because of someone wanted to leech on Microsoft for a patent infrigment. Seesh...

I think I'll keep my swfobject on the page just in case.
