English speaking PHP developer

Hi all...

This is a bit of a vague post but...

I have had a mixed experience hiring offshore developers in the past. One of the main issues can be a misunderstanding of the brief, especially when trying to relay more complex requests. This of course could be down to me! However, I feel it would make sense with two looming projects to source developers fluent/native speaking in English. It is also convenient to have the developer working within the same time zone to speed Q & A's.

However, hiring a UK based developer (for example) can be very expensive.

Any suggestions?

Kind regards,
Tom

If you want quality you have to pay. But how about looking for UK based students?

Just thought this bears repeating. Also - you get what you pay for.
Good luck, Tom
