Post by lellylel »

:D Hi All, We are a webdesign company based in North London. We have work coming out of our ears and it's getting busyier. We are on the look out for PHP hand coders/developers to work on a freelance basis, we will pay excellent rates. So if you live in the North of London preferably near Enfield, or the surrounding areas, then we would love to hear from you. 8O

That's something I'd like to know too... Why limit yourself to a geographical location at all?

You couldn't have posted this when I looked frantically for work in North London this past January/February!?! Seriously! If you help me move out there there I'll still consider it, though. :)

If you want a competent coder, you are going to have to expand your boundaries at least as far as the entire UK, if not Europe, if not globally.
If you are willing to relocate them then so much the better.

The European Union has minimal restrictions for hiring people located in other member countries (subnote - after Ceaucesu (sp.?) Romania became EU - actually check that, my history is debatable around the 90's - so payments made to that country would be governed by European law) - even easier if you don't relocate.

My past two jobs have been for an American and a Canadian and there have been zero problems.

On an aside (same vein though): the nearest competent php coder I know to me is a good 50 miles away. The best are a lot further.

If you're trying to get people to hire you as a PHP developer, you better make sure your program works. It gave an error for me when I voted.
