PHP DEVELOPER with USER EXPERIENCE based in UK

Responsible for managing Web 2.0 and community changes to business websites and various sub-portals. Manages and develops day to day functionality to increase community engagement, site syndication and levering maximum benefit from customer generated content.
Responsibilities include:
* Develop the site with new content and functionality
* Coordination of web content feeds and features with design & development teams
* Liaise with client stakeholders to understand technical direction and impacts on other web services
* Understand customers' use of the site and optimise the experience to different customer needs
* Understanding of usability and accessibility standards
* Maintain a technology overview of platforms and act as a conduit between the team and technical delivery
* Investigate emerging technologies to be able to keep the site 'best of breed'
* Communicate with other parts of the business on site construction, taxonomy and user experience
* Administrate and maintain/configure online community systems and content feeds on other sites
* produce technical briefs, change requests and requirements
* Assess and report on technical proposals
* Understand MIS technologies and requirements to provide consistent tracking and joined up reporting
* Maintain contact and content technical contraints for taxonomy
* Attend regular project calls with a view to understanding potential impacts to current portals
Job requirements:
* Up to three years experience in a related web based management and production role
* Ability to handle multiple projects and priorities and coordinate team workflow in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as exceptional interpersonal skills
* Ability to develop code with an emphasis on multi-platform content feeds and Web 2.0 / Community content management technologies (see detail below)
* Knowledge of website technology
* Ability to analyse complex information
* Sound business sense with a commercial outlook
* Passionate about customer experience and technology
Experience with coding and developing "Rapid Prototypes" using the following Technologies
* HTML
* MIS and Analytics reporting
* Object Oriented Development methodology
* PHP (advanced)
* ASP (light)
* Content feeds
* Javascript and Ajax
* Photoshop
* Relational Database technologies, SQL (technical understanding)
* MS Project, Excel etc.
* UML, XML
* Developing wireframes, process flows
