We're a web design/development/hosting/maintenance company called abLogic LLC. We want to hire some web programmers (PHP/JSP) on a per/job payment plan. You world location does not matter, your age, education, or years of experience also don't matter.
Here's how it works (ideally).
Every couple of days/weeks/months (depending on your own preference, and on how much work we have available) you will receive a job proposal, where we will describe the job description, how much time you will have, and how much we'll pay you for it. You can choose to accept it or not. Every month you will be paid out the total amount of money that you have earned during that month. Method of payment is up to you (PayPal, Anelik, WebMoney, Western Union, mail check, even mail cash).
But before we can get to the "ideal" level, we have the following problem: we don't trust you, and you don't trust us. Here's the way we propose to do it:
If you decide to invest some trust into us, we will first interview you (hopefully look over some examples of previous work). Then we will first give you a very simple job (talking less than $100 here). As soon as you complete the job, we'll send you the payment (we won't wait til the end of the month). This will establish some trust between us. Then we'll give you a job that's a little harder. Then even harder. That will help build our trust.
If you have a better suggestion for establishing trust - we'd love to hear it.
So, what do you have to loose? Few hours of your time. What do you have to gain? $$$ and an evergrowing income. Afraid that we'll rip you off? Then don't waste your time contacting us. If we ripped someone off, they would sure as hell make sure that everyone knows about it.
So, if you're interested, send me the following information:
Name, location, languages that you know, how much experience do you have, your past projects, whatever else you think is applicable. My e-mail is ivan@ablogic.net.
Thanks
Any developers want to make some money on the side?

and..
and... after you contact ME, I've got a project post site where you can leave the details for me to work on... (sorry, just poking fun at Aliska... as pointed out by The Monkey).
All kidding aside, I sent my email...
Now for a tangent: what do folks think about posting rates of pay you're offering to work at? (e.g. I'm at $35/hr) Always seems like an awkward topic (well, not always, some forums are very much about it)... anyway, just some brain candy to suck on.
thanks for the half moment of consideration
